My name is Yulia Nakagome. I am a freshman studying public relations at the University of Southern California. As a public relations major, I look forward to studying the way myself and others use media in the course of this class. I hope that this blog will become a collection of further media creations. Since I was younger, I have enjoyed creating media, whether that be through making YouTube videos showcasing polymer clay charms I made or writing for the school newspaper. My freshman year, I was an Opinion staff writer and Assistant Opinion Editor for USC’s Daily Trojan, and I hope to continue writing for them in the future. I also am a public relations office assistant for the communications office of USC Gould School of Law. I am hoping to add a minor in communication design, and I hope this will allow me to go into a career that combines both writing and design.
